Terms of Service

By using the Manevi Halka mobile application (“the App”) you accept these Terms of Service. Please read carefully.

1. Service Description

Manevi Halka is a mobile app for tracking Quran reading, Cevshen-i Kebir hatim flows, dhikr counters, prayer times, and Islamic book reading. It can be used solo or in friend groups (halaqa).

2. Account

2.1. Age requirement

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If you are under 16, parental consent may be required (legal requirement varies by country).

2.2. Account responsibility

You agree to provide accurate and current information
You are responsible for the security of your account (email access, password)
You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
An account can only be used by one person; account sharing is prohibited

2.3. Account deletion

You can delete your account anytime in-app: Profile → Settings → Account Security → Delete My Account

Your account is first marked as soft-deleted. You can restore it by signing in again within 30 days; after that period, it is automatically and permanently deleted. See Privacy Policy §5 for details.

3. User Obligations

When using the App, you must NOT:

Create content that is illegal, denigrates religious values, or contains hate speech
Harass, threaten, or discriminate against others
Create fake accounts or impersonate others
Access the app via automated scripts, bots, or scrapers
Reverse engineer the application
Exploit security vulnerabilities
Send spam or unwanted messages (including group invites)

We reserve the right to suspend or close accounts in case of violation.

3.1. Group descriptions and custom dhikr texts

You are responsible for the accuracy and appropriateness of content you create (group descriptions, custom dhikr texts, etc.). Inappropriate content may be removed after review when reported.

4. Premium Subscription

4.1. Plan types

Individual Plan: For a single user, monthly or yearly
Family Plan: Shareable with family members, monthly or yearly

Prices are shown in-app and may vary by country.

4.2. Payment via Apple ID / Google Account

You initiate the subscription in-app
Payment is charged via your Apple ID or Google Account (we never see it)
Charge is the amount shown at purchase confirmation

4.3. Auto-renewal

Your subscription auto-renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
Renewal fee is charged within 24 hours of the current period end via your Apple ID or Google account
Renewal price equals your current plan (any increase will be notified in advance)

4.4. Managing / cancelling subscription

iOS: Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → Manevi Halka → Cancel
Android: Play Store → Profile → Payments and Subscriptions → Subscriptions → Manevi Halka → Cancel

After cancellation, Premium features remain available until the end of the current period.

4.5. Free trial (if offered)

If a free trial is offered:

If you don’t cancel within the trial period, you are auto-converted to a paid subscription
The trial can only be used once (Apple/Google policy)

4.6. Refunds

We do not process refunds directly — Apple and Google manage all payments

5. Intellectual Property

5.1. Our rights

The App’s code, design, brand name (“Manevi Halka”), logo, icon, illustrations, and texts are our property (copyright and trademark reserved).

Exception: The Quran text, Cevshen-i Kebir, verse translations, hadiths, and Islamic sources included in the App are public domain or used with proper attribution to their sources.

5.2. Your content

Content you create (notes, group descriptions, custom dhikr) is yours. You grant us only a limited, transient license needed to operate the App.

6. Limitation of Liability

6.1. “As-is” service

The App is provided “as is”. We do NOT guarantee:

Continuous uninterrupted operation
Compatibility with all devices/operating systems
Error-free data storage
Uninterrupted operation of third-party services (Supabase, Apple, Google)

6.2. Scope of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

We are not liable for indirect, special, or punitive damages
Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months (if any)

6.3. Religious content

The religious content in the App (verse translations, hadiths, prayers) is informational. For detailed religious matters, we recommend consulting qualified Islamic scholars. This App is not a fiqh authority.

7. Account Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account in case of:

Violation of these Terms
Illegal use
Security threat (suspicious activity)
Long-term inactivity (12+ months; prior warning will be given)

Upon termination, your data is deleted within the timeframes specified in the Privacy Policy.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. For significant changes, we will send an in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

9. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye
Disputes are subject to the Istanbul (Çağlayan) Courts and Enforcement Offices
EU / UK consumer rights (if applicable) are reserved
